Leveraging his expertise as a leading contingent risk insurance broker, hedge fund analyst and plaintiff’s attorney, Bertoldi assists clients in obtaining bespoke contingent risk insurance policies and structuring transactions that incorporate insurance policies as investment collateral.

Bertoldi has placed some of the largest and most creative contingent risk insurance policies in the industry’s history, including multiple nine-figure policies. He is a Chambers Band 1 litigation insurance broker and a thought leader in the contingent risk insurance space.

A graduate of Yale Law School, Bertoldi is a former litigator at Susman Godfrey L.L.P., and a former law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
