SBLI Appoints Wade Seward as Chief Distribution Officer

Industry veteran brings decades of experience in traditional and alternative distribution to SBLI’s expanding sales efforts

WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Savings Bank Mutual Life Insurance Company of Massachusetts (SBLI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Wade Seward as chief distribution officer. In this role, Seward will oversee SBLI's Independent Distribution and Direct Sales efforts and will drive expansion into new broker, partner, and producer opportunities.

Seward brings over three decades of experience in the insurance industry and most recently served as head of sales and business development at Fieldtech, LLC, a leader in agency management platforms for life insurance distribution. Prior to that, he was head of distribution strategy at Haven Life, the former digital life insurance agency backed and wholly owned by MassMutual. Throughout his career, Seward has held executive positions at MassMutual, Prudential, and The Hartford where he has been instrumental in shaping distribution strategies, fostering new and innovative partnerships, and driving digital adoption in insurance sales.
