Frontier Donates High-Speed Fiber Internet to Support Community Art and Education in Connecticut

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier (NASDAQ: FYBR):

What’s the donation: Frontier is donating high-speed fiber internet to the nonprofit RiseUP Group, Inc. in Hartford, Conn. through our Broadband for Good program. This will provide RiseUP with fast, reliable connectivity to power its art and education initiatives, inspiring and uplifting communities across Connecticut.

What’s Broadband for Good: Broadband for Good is our commitment to advancing digital inclusion and strengthening the communities we serve. This program supports our purpose of Building Gigabit America by using our fiber technology and resources to connect more people to the digital society.

Why we chose RiseUP: RiseUP engages hundreds of Connecticut students in after-school programs that provide development and mentorship opportunities for underrepresented youth. Our donation ensures that they have fast, reliable connectivity for everything from online learning to digital art projects.

Hear from Frontier: “We’re excited to team up with community organizations like RiseUP, who share our belief that access to technology can be life changing,” said Erin Kurtz, Frontier’s Chief Communications Officer. “With our high-speed fiber internet, RiseUP can provide even more opportunities for students and artists in Connecticut to learn, grow and thrive.”

Hear from RiseUP: “We're thrilled to partner with Frontier through their Broadband for Good program. The donation of fiber optic internet to RiseUP's studio is more than just a technological upgrade—it’s a gateway to enhanced creativity, community engagement, and seamless collaboration. With this support, we'll be able to expand our impact, bringing more innovative and inclusive art initiatives to Connecticut,” said Matt Conway, Executive Director of RiseUP.

More about Broadband for Good in Connecticut: This is our fourth Broadband for Good donation in Connecticut so far. We have also powered District Arts and Education (DAE), which expands access to STEM opportunities for high schoolers and adults in New Haven; the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield, which offers thousands of kids a safe place to learn and grow; and Malta House, a women’s transitional housing program in Norwalk that empowers new moms and their babies to get back on their feet.
