Musicians Unite for a Cause: Susan G. Komen® launches Band As One Nashville a Concert for the Cure

Trisha Yearwood and Friends Supporting Komen’s Mission to End Breast Cancer

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Susan G. Komen®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, today announced it will host Band As One Nashville a Concert for the Cure on March 26, 2025, at the Ryman Auditorium. The inaugural event will bring together some of music’s most renowned artists to raise critical funds for those impacted by breast cancer. Country music icon, Trisha Yearwood will headline the event alongside a star-studded lineup of artists that are committed to lending their voices to ending breast cancer for all.

Every 12 minutes, a woman in the U.S. dies from breast cancer. In 2024 alone, an estimated 6,720 women in Tennessee will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 1,020 will lose their lives to the disease. Experts say one-third of breast cancer deaths in the U.S. could be prevented with universal access to modern treatments. Funds raised at the Band As One Nashville will allow Komen to fund research breakthroughs and patient care services that allow more lives to be saved and bring us closer to the cures for all breast cancers.

“Komen has a long history of working with passionate advocates in the music and entertainment industry who use their platform to empower and educate the breast cancer community. Today, we are thrilled to launch Band As One Nashville a Concert for the Cure to continue sharing how this disease impacts families worldwide,” said Paula Schneider, president and CEO of Susan G. Komen. “Music and breast cancer alike touch lives in deeply personal ways, and we’re thrilled to join forces with so many talented artists driving our mission forward.”

Sponsors for the event include Presenting Sponsor JBJ’s Nashville, Rock Star Sponsor Woodhouse Spa, VIP Sponsor Shoals, and Opening Act Sponsors Miranda Lambert, Moo Country, Keystone Financial Resources, ShopKeeper Management, Katrina Wilson, and Media Sponsors WSM Radio and News Channel 5 Nashville. The lineup will feature “Trisha Yearwood and friends,” including some of the most recognized names in music today, who will come together for one night to raise funds for breast cancer awareness.

“We are excited to work with some of music’s most impactful voices for this concert, while raising awareness for breast cancer,” said Joshua Daniel, Executive Director for Susan G. Komen in Tennessee. “Ending breast cancer requires a continued effort from all of us, and it is an honor to work with so many talented individuals to continue our mission to end breast cancer and help those in need.”

“Breast cancer is very near and dear to my heart, and I am thrilled to honor and remember those who’ve battled this disease,” said Trisha Yearwood. "This event will be an unforgettable night of music supporting Susan G. Komen to raise awareness and funds that help save lives.”
