Domaine Serene Celebrates Grace Evenstad’s Legacy Award from ¡Salud! for Extraordinary Contributions to Oregon’s Wine and Vineyard Communities

DUNDEE HILLS, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Domaine Serene is honored to announce that co-founder and owner Grace Evenstad has been selected to receive the Legacy Winemaker Award from ¡Salud!. Receipt of this award illuminates the recognition of Grace Evenstad’s meaningful contributions to Oregon’s wine industry and commitment to the health and well-being of the vineyard community.

From the moment Grace and her late husband Ken purchased property in the Dundee Hills in 1989, they had set out to create wines that rival the best in the world. While Domaine Serene has garnered prestigious acclaim, it has been of equal importance of Grace Evenstad to support those that help craft those exceptional wines.

The ¡Salud! Oregon Pinot Noir Auction is an annual event dedicated to celebrating Oregon’s renowned Pinot Noir while supporting healthcare access for the vineyard workers. Since its inception in 1991, ¡Salud! has provided vital medical services to vineyard stewards and their families through an innovative program that includes mobile health outreach, bilingual support, and debt reduction initiatives. Each year, the Legacy Winemaker Award recognizes an individual who has made an extraordinary impact on Oregon’s wine and vineyard communities, honoring those whose contributions to the industry and dedication to philanthropic work continue to make a profound difference in the lives of those who help bring each vintage to life.

Throughout her decades-long career, Grace Evenstad has exemplified a passion to philanthropy that reaches far beyond the wine cellar. Her deep involvement with ¡Salud! for over ten years has been a driving force in advancing healthcare access for vineyard stewards and their families, ensuring they receive critical support and resources.

We invite our community and supporters to join us in celebrating Grace Evenstad’s Legacy Award at the ¡Salud! Oregon Pinot Noir Auction, a two-day event highlighting Oregon’s finest wines and supporting essential healthcare services for vineyard stewards and their families. The auction will feature exclusive lots, from rare wines and collectible bottles to unforgettable travel experiences, with proceeds directly funding ¡Salud!’s innovative healthcare programs.
