Corvias’ Quality Assurance Program Elevates Performance

Consistent training and robust standards put teams on path to excellence

WARWICK, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Earlier this year, Corvias delivered an updated comprehensive quality assurance program to enhance living conditions and improve resident satisfaction within its military housing portfolio. In collaboration with the Army, the program aims to deliver more robust quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of day-to-day operations.

“The program is well underway and proving successful. Since implementation, work order performance and resident satisfaction have improved across the portfolio and teams are better equipped to proactively address issues that need attention,” said Melissa Bryson, regional vice president of compliance and quality control.

This is partly attributed to the simultaneous internal rollout of Interplay Learning, a training platform offering immersive skilled trades training options. Company-wide, over 600 team members have participated in training courses offered by Interplay Learning. Nearly 300 maintenance team members serving Corvias’ military housing communities alone have completed maintenance training through the platform, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning training, and in-person trade-specific maintenance courses. Separately, all maintenance employees have also participated in over 15 standard operating procedure training courses.

With additional training options planned for the future, the outlook is positive. One maintenance technician from Fort Riley mentioned, “The training keeps us up to date on policy changes and expectations.”

Corvias remains focused on the core principles of the QA/QC program which include continuously improving upon strong maintenance standards; conducting multi-level inspections and audits; active resident communication; and data analysis. The next phase of the QA/QC program includes evaluating how artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and large language models can be leveraged to further benefit the program.
