Vitacorps Names Retired U.S. Army Major General and Infrastructure Leader Joseph A. Ricciardi as President

Accomplished global executive brings track record of growth and innovation to Vitacorps’ mission of creating healthier indoor environments

WARWICK, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vitacorps, an industry leader in indoor wellness solutions and environmental health strategies, today announced the appointment of Major General (Ret.) Joseph A. Ricciardi, Ph.D., as President, succeeding Robert Bellmar. Ricciardi will lead the company’s growth strategy and market expansion as it continues its mission to deliver healthier indoor environments across residential, commercial, and military housing communities.

Ricciardi brings more than 25 years of senior executive and military leadership experience spanning infrastructure, operations, and commercialization. He most recently served as Commanding General of the 88th Readiness Division, overseeing real estate assets, construction, and infrastructure maintenance across 19 states. His prior leadership roles include Deputy Commanding General for the U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM), managing global operations for over 120 military installations worldwide, and Director of Operations at the Pentagon (HQDA G-9), where he advised on a $12B+ energy security and infrastructure modernization portfolio.

In the private sector, Ricciardi has a proven track record of scaling growth, establishing joint ventures, and leading commercialization for advanced analytics and supply chain capabilities, with previous roles as Chief Operating Officer at RESCON, Vice President of Operations at SEFA, and National Account Director of Analytics & Commercialization at HAVI Global Solutions.

Ricciardi holds a Ph.D. in Values-Driven Leadership from Benedictine University, an MBA from Purdue University, a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and a B.S. in Engineering/Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is a three-time recipient of the Bronze Star Medal.
