LIBERTY Dental Plan Donates $10,000 to Support Hurricane Relief Efforts in Florida

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LIBERTY Dental Plan of Florida, Inc. (LIBERTY), a dental benefits administrator serving members throughout the areas impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, today announced it is donating $10,000 for Hurricane relief efforts to Volunteer Florida, whose mission is to strengthen Florida’s communities through national service, fostering volunteerism and leveraging resources.

Hurricane Helene made landfall late on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024. The Category 4 hurricane affected millions of people, causing fatalities, widespread flooding, power outages, and other damage.

Hurricane Milton made landfall late on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The Category 3 hurricane exacerbated the damage caused by Hurricane Helene in many Florida communities.

In addition to the company’s monetary donation, the LIBERTY team volunteered its time and resources, along with oral hygiene donations such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, supply bags, lip balm, and oral health educational materials.
