AiDash Attracts Top Talent Amid Period of Hyper Growth

Three essential executive hires – Samantha Hamlin, Angela Shi, and Gaurav Bawa – will be based out of AiDash’s recently opened global headquarters in Palo Alto.

Hamlin has been named Chief People Officer. For more than 25 years, she has honed her HR skills supporting high-growth startups as well as industry titans including Cruise, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Facebook and Hewlett-Packard. She will oversee AiDash’s ambitious team expansion and is tasked with maintaining the company’s strong culture as it scales.

Shi joins AiDash as VP of Financial Planning and Analysis, bringing extensive expertise in strategic finance, FP&A, and corporate development. Shi specializes in scaling finance teams and processes to support growth-stage software businesses, having held senior finance roles at Menlo Security, Wonolo, Turner Capital Impact, and Barclays Capital. She will guide AiDash through a period of hyper growth and product expansion with effective financial stewardship.

Bawa is the new Head of Engineering, Platform. Bawa has a strong track record of leading development of SaaS Enterprise & AI products at startups and high growth companies, most recently as the Head of Data Engineering at Balbix. He has also held engineering leadership roles at companies including Oracle and NetSuite. Bawa will play a pivotal role as AiDash expands its offerings to provide critical industries with greater capabilities in the fight against climate change-related weather events, such as storms, wind, and wildfires.

These strategic additions reinforce AiDash’s commitment to driving innovation and scaling its operations as part of its ambitious growth plans. Global demand is surging for AiDash’s satellite-first solutions that make critical infrastructure more adaptive and resilient to climate change. The company has more than 150 customers worldwide and has been more than doubling its annual recurring revenue (ARR) every year since the company’s inception in 2019.
