Priority Health Ranked No. 1 for Medicare Advantage Plan Customer Satisfaction in Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Priority Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan serving more than 1.3 million members, is ranked No. 1 in overall customer satisfaction among Medicare Advantage plans in Michigan, based on the results of the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Medicare Advantage Study.

Priority Health also ranked highest in three dimensions of the study: People (representatives, call center), helping to save time or money, and ease of doing business (billing, account changes).

The J.D. Power U.S. Medicare Advantage Study is an annual syndicated benchmarking study profiling member experiences with Medicare Advantage health plans, examining the full experience of Medicare Advantage (MA) health plan members.

Priority Health is consistently recognized as a top performer through the Medicare Star Ratings released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

For 2024, Priority Health’s HMO/POS and PPO plans both earned 4.5 stars (out of 5), the highest rating granted to a Michigan-based plan for 2024. Every year Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating system.

Priority Health was also recognized as a top performer by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for its Medicare plans. Priority Health’s Medicare HMO/POS plans received 4.5 stars (out of 5), making them the top-rated Medicare plans in Michigan and among the highest-rated plans in the nation. Priority Health’s Medicare PPO plans received 4 out of 5 stars.
