Church of the Highlands to Host Their Annual 3-Day Children’s Conference on June 24 - 26

This summer, 23 locations across the states of Alabama and Georgia will host the annual Summer Blast Kids Conference at no cost to families.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Summer Blast Kids Conference is Church of the Highlands’ version of vacation Bible school. This free, dynamic kids conference is for all children entering kindergarten through 6th grade and is designed to help children discover God’s Word in an exciting and unforgettable way.

Each day of Summer Blast, children will learn a key biblical point reinforced by a Bible story and a video parable made just for them.

The conference will occur Monday through Wednesday, June 24 - 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This year’s theme is Champion, and the theme verse is Isaiah 40:31, which says, “They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Highlands’ prayer is that the thousands of children in attendance will experience Jesus in a powerful way.

Summer Blast is possible because of the generosity of the people who call Highlands home and the incredible Highlands’ Dream Team who faithfully serve and guide children through the activities at the conference. Adults, high school students, and middle school students (with a parent or guardian) who are a part of the Highlands’ Dream Team can register to serve at the Summer Blast Kids Conference.

Children will take part in different stations at the event including snacks, cinema, games, and more, and will receive a free Summer Blast T-shirt on the first day of the conference.
