Church of the Highlands to Host “Cokes on the Lawn” After Monthly First Wednesday Service

To celebrate the summer season, Church of the Highlands had soft drinks and ice cream available after their First Wednesday service on-site at 25 locations.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Following a time of refreshing worship, communion, and teachings from God’s Word at their monthly First Wednesday service on June 5th, Highlands hosted a fun afterparty experience for all attendees and families to enjoy. At most campuses, this took place on the lawn or in the lobby so attendees and members could connect with others at Cokes on the Lawn.

The incredible volunteers at Church of the Highlands, lovingly referred to as the Dream Team, prepared a fun experience with soft drinks and ice cream available after services for all in attendance at all 25 Highlands locations across Alabama and Georgia.

Most campuses had food trucks available for purchase before the service to make it more convenient for people to attend, as well as to build community.

Cokes on the Lawn will also take place after the First Wednesday services on July 3 and August 7 - be sure to invite your friends and family and make plans to attend First Wednesday in July or August to celebrate the summer and for powerful services that are sure to inspire you to stay connected with God and others this summer.
