Hypori Doubles Down on Data Protection Efforts, Completes SOC 2 Type II Compliance Audit

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hypori, the leading cybersecurity SaaS provider enabling bring-your-own-device (BYOD) capability and zero-trust access via any mobile device, announces the completion of its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II Compliance Audit developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The SOC 2 audit is one of the world’s highest recognized standards of information security compliance, and it is a testament to Hypori’s focus on security and compliance.

The SOC 2 Type II audit verifies that Hypori’s internal controls, policies, and procedures conform to stringent security and operational standards that demonstrate the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of its controls relevant to SOC 2 security criteria. Certification demonstrates a company's ability to not only implement critical security policies, but also prove compliance in the areas of security, availability, and confidentiality over an extended period.

"With the successful completion of our SOC 2 Type II report, with no exceptions of the tested controls, Hypori continues to demonstrate our commitment to earning and maintaining the trust of our customers by protecting their data and their resources,” said Matthew Stern, Hypori Chief Security Officer.

As the leading mobile workspace provider to the Department of Defense, enabling the Army’s BYOD program, and a SaaS provider of HIPAA-compliant mobile access to electronic patient information, maintaining the highest levels of security in Hypori Halo while exceeding user satisfaction requires balance and challenges Hypori to continuously develop and deliver to meet customer needs.

Hypori’s SOC 2 Type II audit was completed with the support by the Johanson Group LLP, a premier certification body helping organizations to obtain and maintain global compliance standards, and Vanta, the leading Trust Management platform. Hypori leveraged unique product capabilities and integrations to automate much of its SOC 2 compliance efforts.

SOC 2 is just one aspect of Hypori’s growing security program. For more information about Hypori and its security certifications, please visit its Trust Center.
