ACRO Announces Diversity and Inclusion Site Resource Grants Program

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACRO today announced the launch of its Diversity and Inclusion Site Resource Grants Program.

The ACRO D&I Site Resource Grants Program aims to help sites acquire the resources and skills that will get them selected for studies and improve the reach of clinical research into underrepresented communities.

“We are excited to invite applications for the D&I Site Resource Grants Program,” said Doug Peddicord, Executive Director of ACRO, “with the goal of empowering sites to implement projects that aspire to make clinical research more inclusive.”

The program’s $50,000 grants, awarded to five sites, will act as seed funding that allows sites to demonstrate proof-of-concept on projects aimed at increasing diversity.

“Sites play a vital role in shaping diversity in clinical research,” said Sophia McLeod, Sr. Director, Government Relations at ACRO. “We are looking forward to working with grant recipients to put their ideas into action.”

Sites are invited to submit applications by May 31, 2024.
