bluebird bio Reports Inducement Grants Under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4)

SOMERVILLE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--bluebird bio, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLUE) today announced that the Compensation Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors approved inducement grants of 102,700 restricted stock units (“RSUs”) to twelve newly hired employees with a grant date of April 9, 2024 (the “Inducement Grants”). The Inducement Grants are subject to the terms and conditions of award agreements covering the grants and the Company’s 2021 Inducement Plan.

The RSUs approved under the Inducement Grants vest equally over four years, with 25% vesting each year on the anniversary of the vesting date.

The Company granted the RSUs as inducement materials to each individual entering into employment with bluebird bio, Inc. in accordance with NASDAQ Listing Rule 5635(c)(4).
