Corvias Named Finalist for Ragan Awards

Leadership Development Program Aligns Leaders Within Corvias Culture

WARWICK, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Corvias, which solves infrastructure, indoor environment, and energy resiliency challenges in partnership with the Department of Defense and higher education institutions, received recognition as a finalist in the esteemed Ragan Awards in two Internal Communications categories. This acknowledgment celebrates the Corvias marketing and communications team’s exceptional efforts in support of Corvias’ inaugural leadership development program, launched in 2023.

The Ragan Awards honor outstanding achievements in communication, spotlighting the best and brightest in internal communications and employee-centric campaigns.

The Corvias leadership development program seeks to align leaders and fosters a unified cultural experience for all team members. Engaging department and operational leaders from 22 Corvias locations, ranging from military installations to higher education institutions, the program offers tailored training and skill-building opportunities. It includes the establishment of 15 Corvias leadership principles, along with associated training sessions such as new leader foundations and next level leadership, all designed to promote a values-based culture that attracts, engages, motivates, and retains employees.

The marketing and communications team played a pivotal role in the leadership development program. They developed and produced 15 videos that reinforce Corvias’ leadership principles along with other program materials, including an interactive leadership development playbook, an individual development plan template, and a leadership principles assessment form.

With strong participation in the leadership development program, a survey of training participants revealed positive feedback: 90 percent of leaders agreed that Corvias provides the necessary training to support their careers. Additionally, 82% found the sessions very or extremely relevant, 68% valued networking opportunities, and 72% applied the program's learnings to their roles at Corvias.

“Corvias is honored to have been named a finalist for the Ragan Awards in Internal Communications,” said Chris Wilson, CEO of Corvias. “This recognition underscores our ongoing commitment to being the best place to work and fostering a culture of respect, empathy, authenticity, commitment, and humility. Our leadership development program plays a pivotal role in shaping the work environment for our team members and we are proud to see its impact being recognized nationally. Thanks to our marketing and communication team for the role they played in helping to bring this program to our leadership team.”

The winners of the Ragan Awards are set to be announced at an upcoming ceremony, scheduled for April 18 in Chicago.
