Menlo Micro Brings in Power Products Business Unit Leader to Continue Proliferating its Industry-Leading Technology

Leadership Expansion will Drive Market Development and Strategic Growth to Power Market

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Menlo Microsystems, Inc. (Menlo Micro), the company responsible for bringing to market the greatest electronic component innovation since the transistor with its Ideal Switch® technology, today announced that it will be expanding its senior leadership team by hiring Chris Umminger as the company’s Vice President of Power Products. Mr. Umminger will oversee the newly formed Power Products Business Unit and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Yalcin Bulut.

Mr. Umminger joins Menlo Micro after serving as Senior Director of Power Path Products at Linear Technology and Analog Devices. There he led the development of integrated circuits that controlled, protected, and monitored power. As head of the Power Products Business Unit, Mr. Umminger will help drive Menlo Micro’s power switch technology which has been sampling with various early-access customers since 2023.
