EyeCare Partners Appoints Daniel Miller, M.D., Ph.D., as Executive Medical Officer

Dr. Miller to Spearhead Transformational Medical Leadership Team to Advance Clinically Integrated Care Model

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EyeCare Partners (ECP), the nation’s leading provider of clinically integrated eye care, today announced that Daniel Miller, M.D., Ph.D., will assume the newly created role of Executive Medical Officer for EyeCare Partners’ ophthalmology organization, a multi-faceted position that combines clinical and business leadership.

Dr. Miller will serve as EyeCare Partners’ physician leader, overseeing all ophthalmology medical operations ensuring the highest quality of care, efficient clinical and surgical operations, and exceptional patient service. He will lead an integrated team dedicated to eye care industry leadership and foster physician engagement, collaboration, and connectivity across the EyeCare Partners network.

Dr. Miller is a board-certified and fellowship-trained medical and surgical retina specialist. He is an internationally published researcher recognized for his research in macular degeneration, diabetes, and vitreoretinal surgery. In addition to being Chair of the EyeCare Partners Medical Executive Board, Dr. Miller has served in a number of leadership roles, including Chief Medical Officer and member of the Board of Directors for CEI Vision Partners (CVP), as well as Vice-Chairman of the Clinical Governance Board for Cincinnati Eye Institute. He has received several honors and awards throughout his career and served as an investigator in 60 national clinical trials. He additionally has authored 60 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, earning global recognition for his work.

Dr. Miller will continue to see patients on a limited basis at Cincinnati Eye Institute.
