Invetx Appoints Dr. Marcus Remmers, Novo Holdings Partner and Animal Health Industry Leader, to Board of Directors

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Invetx, a pioneer in protein-based therapeutics for animal health, today announced the appointment of Dr. Marcus Remmers to its board of directors.

Dr. Remmers is currently a partner at Novo Holdings and a member of the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network. He most recently served as chief technology officer at DSM, a global health, nutrition and bioscience company. He was previously vice president, global head of biologics R&D and vice president, global head of pharma R&D at Merial, a leading veterinary medicine company acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health in 2017. Earlier in his career, he served as country president for Intervet (later Schering-Plough Animal Health). He received degrees in chemistry from the University of Munster and University of Freiburg, and a doctorate in chemistry from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research.
