Hancock Whitney Bank and FHLB Dallas to Award $253K in Relief Funding to Rebuilding Together New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hancock Whitney Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will celebrate awarding more than $253,000 in Disaster Rebuilding Assistance (DRA) program funds to Rebuilding Together New Orleans. The nonprofit is using the funds to rehabilitate and strengthen storm-damaged New Orleans, Louisiana, communities impacted by Hurricane Ida.

The media is encouraged to attend a ceremonial check presentation at Rebuilding Together New Orleans’ Marais Street warehouse. Representatives from Hancock Whitney Bank, FHLB Dallas and Rebuilding Together New Orleans will also attend.

Awarded through member institutions, income-qualified homeowners can receive up to $12,000 in DRA funds for the repair and reconstruction of owner-occupied housing affected by a disaster event in federally declared disaster areas within FHLB Dallas’ five-state District.
