Albedo Forms Strategic Advisory Board

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Albedo, a company developing low-flying satellites that will deliver ultra high-resolution images, announced today the formation of its Strategic Advisory Board, with Joan Dempsey, Dr. John Deutch, and Vice Admiral Bob Sharp, USN (Ret) as the first three members.

With a wealth of experience and expertise in defense and intelligence, these accomplished and distinguished leaders will provide Albedo's leadership team with invaluable strategic advice and insights as the company continues to develop cutting-edge VLEO high-resolution imaging satellites.

John Deutch is a distinguished scholar and public servant with extensive experience in government, industry, and academia. As the seventeenth Director of Central Intelligence and the Deputy Secretary of Defense in the first Clinton administration, he was active in overseeing the intelligence community effort in satellite imagery. John has served on several boards of directors and advisory committees for organizations in a variety of industry sectors.

Vice Admiral Bob Sharp, USN (Ret), is a highly respected leader with over three decades of experience in the military and intelligence communities. As the seventh Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), he oversaw the collection, analysis, and dissemination of geospatial intelligence for the U.S. government. Under his leadership, the NGA made significant advances in the use of cutting-edge technology to support U.S. national security objectives. Prior to his role at the NGA, Vice Admiral Sharp served in numerous leadership positions in the Navy, including as the Commander of the Office of Naval Intelligence and as the Director of the Joint Intelligence Center at U.S. Central Command.

The Honorable Joan Dempsey is a highly regarded national security expert with over three decades of experience in government, industry, and academia. She served as the former Deputy Director of Central Intelligence for Community Management at CIA, Deputy Director of Intelligence at DIA, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security, where she oversaw the development and execution of intelligence operations and analysis in support of U.S. military operations around the world. Ms. Dempsey also served as Executive Director of the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board (PFIAB), providing high-level advice and guidance to the President and other senior officials on intelligence capabilities and priorities. In addition to her impressive government career, Ms. Dempsey served as an Executive Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, overseeing the firm's global portfolio of defense and intelligence programs and helping shape the firm's strategy and vision.
