FULTONVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anderson-Negele, a leading manufacturer of instrumentation for the food and beverage industry, is excited to announce that the FDA has issued its Paperless Process Recorder (PPR) a Memorandum-b. The “Memorandum of Milk Ordinance Equipment Compliance” (M-b) is a letter of conformity that the FDA issues to show that a particular device/system has been found to be compliant with a section or application within the “Grade A Pasteurized Milk Ordinance” PMO.
The Memorandum-b is a significant milestone for the PPR as it gives state dairy regulators confidence that the product meets all PMO (Pasteurized Milk Ordinance) requirements. This reduces the complexity and risk of each state approving a new piece of technology following its own review. The FDA has never issued a Memorandum-b for an electronic recorder/controller to be used in pasteurization applications. With the M-b-383, Anderson-Negele's PPR is now the first and currently only digital recorder and controller to achieve this.
"We are thrilled the PPR has been issued a Memorandum-b," said Kristi Hobbs, Director of Product Management at Anderson-Negele. "This is a significant accomplishment for our PPR and Legendary™ Software and further solidifies our commitment to providing innovative and reliable solutions to our customers."
The Paperless Process Recorder, with its advanced Legendary™ Software, provides food and beverage plants with a next-generation solution for process monitoring and control. The PPR offers real-time monitoring of process parameters, allowing operators to quickly identify any issue or deviations from setpoints, regardless of location. This feature provides flexibility and helps prevent production delays and quality issues. Additionally, the PPR with Legendary™ Software offers advanced security features like secure data storage, user authentication, and tamper-proof audit logs, ensuring that sensitive process data remains protected from unauthorized access or modification. This combination of process monitoring and advanced security features makes the PPR an ideal solution for food and beverage plants looking to improve their operational efficiency and data security.
