Communications Veteran Joins Encina to Lead Global Communications Strategy and Support Growth Objectives

THE WOODLANDS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Encina Development Group, LLC (“Encina”) a producer of ISCC+ circular chemicals from end-of-life plastics today announced the appointment of Alison Jahn as its Chief Communications Officer to oversee the company’s global communications strategy. In her new role, Ms. Jahn will be responsible for leading Encina's enterprise-wide communications effort, establishing people and communication strategies to advance the company’s reputation and accelerate its commercial growth. She will also have oversight of Encina’s government affairs strategy and will drive efforts to build public and private partnerships within the local governments and communities where Encina operates.

Jahn brings 25 years of global experience building purpose-driven brands and award-winning communications initiatives for Fortune 500 companies in the performance materials, oil and gas and financial services industries. She most recently served as Vice President of Global Communications and External Affairs at Ascend Performance Materials where she created multi-channel communications strategies that helped redefine the company’s culture and secure its reputation as a global leader in the manufacture of high-performance polymers.

Jahn began her career in Washington, D.C. holding roles at global communications firms Porter Novelli and APCO Worldwide, where she rose through the ranks from Associate to Vice President of Strategic Communications. She later joined Univar Solutions, where she held various leadership positions, including Director of Global Marketing & Communications, Director of Corporate Communications and Director of Public Relations. Jahn is bilingual and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communications and Spanish from Augusta State University.
