OXIO Named One of America's Best Startup Employers 2023 by Forbes

Telecom-as-a-Service Leader Ranked Among Top 50 Employers

NEW YORK--()--OXIO, a leading telecom-as-a-service (TaaS) platform, has been named one of America's Best Startup Employers of 2023 by Forbes. Landing in the No. 48 spot overall, OXIO was chosen from more than 2600 startup companies for this honor based on company reputation, employee satisfaction, and steady growth.

"We're thrilled to receive this recognition from Forbes," said Nicolas Girard, CEO of OXIO. "At OXIO, we believe that a positive work environment is crucial to our success as a telecom disruptor. Mobile connectivity is an essential service that is necessary to succeed in the digital economy, and our team is working to build a more accessible digital future for people around the globe. To facilitate this vision, we are fully committed to creating a space where our talented and diverse team members feel welcome, respected, and empowered to grow and pursue groundbreaking change."

Launched in 2018, OXIO removes the barriers that have previously held companies back from innovating in the telecom industry. The platform abstracts the complexity of closed carrier networks, telecom jargon, and long negotiations into simple API and UI that are as easy to use as any modern software solution. This gives companies the ability to deliver their ideal connectivity solution for customers, employees, and machines with just a few clicks.

“This honor is a testament to not only a talented team but also one that is incredibly visionary as we reimagine how the telecom industry can advance into a globally connected ecosystem,” added Jason Evans, co-founder at OXIO. “We’ve come a long way in a short period of time for this industry, and we are excited about our continued growth in 2023.”

In March 2022, OXIO announced a $40M Series B funding round led by ParaFi Capital, with participation from Digital Currency Group, Ascend Capital, and Leyden Ventures; as well as existing investors Multicoin Capital, Monashees, Atlantico Capital, FinTech Collective; seed investors Allan Green of Candel & Partners; and angel investors from LightShed Partners and Sea Group.

Forbes and Statista selected the prestigious Americas Best Startup Employers 2023 list by examining the best-performing startups and identifying the most innovative and best to work for. Companies considered within the evaluation were all headquartered in the U.S. and founded between the years of 2013 and 2020, employing at least 50 employees while exhibiting a startup structure. The analysis considered more than 7 million data points measuring employer reputation, employee satisfaction, and growth.
