LastPass Appoints Chief Financial Officer to Leadership Team and Promotes Abby Miller to Senior Vice President

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, LastPass announced it has appointed Terry Murphy as its Chief Financial Officer, where he’s responsible for overseeing LastPass’ Global Finance Organization. He brings more than 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles for both public and private companies and has an extensive background supporting SaaS B2B organizations. In addition, Abby Miller, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Customer Experience at the company. In her new position, Miller leads customer success, customer retention, support and renewals.

In his new role, Murphy is tasked with developing and implementing LastPass' financial strategy alongside the company's board of directors and executive staff. As LastPass looks to scale its business, he is also responsible for developing internal processes and technology stacks to further enable these objectives and to create comprehensive financial plans across all aspects of the organization.

Prior to joining LastPass, Murphy served as Chief Financial Officer at Qualio, a SaaS B2B life sciences provider. He’s also previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Kenna Security and Whitehat Security.

Executive Promotion
Since joining the company in 2017, Abby Miller has played a pivotal role in shaping how LastPass approaches customer success and has helped define and execute the company’s retention strategy across all customer segments. Miller already led LastPass’ Customer Success team, helping our business customers find value throughout the customer lifecycle. In her expanded role, Miller is now also responsible for setting the retention strategy for all customer touchpoints and evolving the support model to give customers the best experience possible.
