Lincoln Financial Group names Heather Deichler as head of Group Benefit Product and Underwriting

Deichler’s extensive business knowledge and industry experience will help build on past success and drive strategic direction

RADNOR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC) announced today that Heather Deichler has been named senior vice president, Group Benefit Product and Underwriting within the company’s Workplace Solutions business. In this role, Deichler will drive the strategic direction of Product, Underwriting and business development, continuing to ensure employer customers and claimants have access to innovative, market-leading product offerings that drive positive outcomes, while overseeing profit and loss management. She will report to James Reid, executive vice president, president of Workplace Solutions.

Deichler has been with Lincoln Financial since 2019, and was most recently head of MoneyGuard® Business Management, where she led product development, pricing, underwriting and management for Lincoln’s MoneyGuard® solutions.

Before joining Lincoln Financial, Deichler was head of Long-Term Care and Linked Benefits Products, Marketing, Communications and Strategy for New York Life, and also held leadership roles in the company’s Group and Worksite business, its Group Membership Association Department and Executive Benefits. Heather received her Juris Doctor degree from Pace University and, prior to entering the insurance industry, was employed at a law firm focused on municipal law, public finance and corporate governance. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Vassar College.
