Ventiv Technology Elected to International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions’ Electronic Data Interchange Council

Leading Risk & Claims Management Software Provider’s Compliance Manager Appointed for Three-Year Term

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ventiv Technology, the leading provider of advanced analytics for risk, claims and underwriting solutions, today announced the appointment of Ventiv Technology to the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions’ (IAIABC) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Council. Cindy Hall, Compliance Manager, will serve as the Ventiv representative at meetings.

The EDI Council consists of 24 members, 12 from Jurisdictional member organizations and 12 from EDI member organizations. Each member serves a three-year term, with eight rolling appointments made each year. Responsibilities of the EDI Council include providing oversight to the EDI Program (EDI Standards and EDI Committees) to protect the needs of stakeholders, promote consistency across standards, and ensure the transparency of processes and rules.

Currently, Hall supports all aspects of Ventiv’s compliance reporting solution and offers more than 20 years of experience in workers’ compensation reporting to the Council.

“I’m grateful to Ventiv for its involvement and support of my participation with the IAIABC,” said Hall. “As a member of IAIABC, we are not just representing ourselves, we are representing our clients. This appointment is one of the many ways we serve as a true voice for the industry and represent the needs and voices of our clients.”

Ventiv provides EDI solutions for FROI and SROI automation, triggering Maintenance Type Codes with immediate real-time data validation applied to each transaction to prepare the transaction for successful processing at the State level. This real-time validation is critical for timely reporting. Ventiv has clients across every state that mandates utilization of the IAIABC Standard, maintaining support for all release versions mandates and State updated.

“The more than 1000 compliance rules embedded within our Ventiv Claims software are unmatched in the marketplace,” said Ventiv CEO Salil Donde. “With decades of embedded subject-matter knowledge in the software combined with the experience of our team, Ventiv is proud to represent our hundreds of claims administration customers interests on the EDI Council.”

In addition to participating on the EDI Council, Ventiv Technology is actively participating in the following IAIABC Working Committees: Claims Committee; Systems Committee and Medbill Propay Committee.
