Aplantex Secures the Ideal Industrial Facility to Implement Its Strategic Plan

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mr. Patrick Charest, B. Sc., P. Eng., CEO of Aplantex, is pleased to announce that the company has secured its first industrial facility to implement its strategic plan. "Aplantex has initiated the set-up of its production scale laboratory and is ramping up the planning of its production lines as we speak," states Mr. Charest.

Located on Montreal’s south shore in Boucherville, Quebec, Canada, the high-grade facility, with more than 12 000 sqft. of floor space, first-rate power, ventilation, secured access systems, and several drive-in bays can house all the equipment required to produce certified high-value molecules that meet the strictest quality and security criteria. This strategic location, situated within the Life Science and Agrifood industrial park cluster, also offers a large pool of qualified technical resources that will help support Aplantex’s rapid expansion. "At a stone’s throw from highways 20 and 30, our facility is the answer to any North American pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or agrifood company aiming to shorten and secure its supply chain at a lower cost while improving their internal ESG targets, thanks to Aplantex’s proprietary green biotechnology process," concludes Mr. Charest.

ABOUT APLANTEX

The Aplantex scientific team has developed a unique process for the production of certified high-value molecules that enjoy strong demand from major players in many industries. The core of this green biotechnology process consists of the continuous production in a controlled environment of biomass originating from photosynthetic plant replicators. This abundant biomass is dried, and the extraction, fragmentation, and purification stages allow the separation of the specific molecules essential to the production of popular products in the health, beauty, and food & beverage industries.

The photosynthetic plant replicators can store up to 40% of their dry weight of atmospheric CO2 and, in Quebec, can be grown year-round in a controlled environment using sustainable hydroelectric power. With its eco-friendly process, Aplantex is thus a preferred supplier for any company looking to comply with ESG criteria.
