MERGE’s Dr. Kirsten Ambegaokar Named To MM+M’s 40 Under 40 List Chicago

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MERGE, a premium storytelling and technology company, is proud to announce that Kristen Henkins Ambegaokar, PhD, Medical Director, Life Sciences, has been named to MM+M’s fourth class of 40 Under 40 honorees.

The 40 Under 40 list includes individuals who hail from a range of employers, from pharma and biotech companies and agencies to device manufacturers, analytics firms and health media. At those organizations, the honorees hold a range of essential account, strategy and creative positions. With the world of medical marketing continuing to evolve in the digital era, these individuals inspire confidence that the industry is in good hands for the years ahead.

“Among the many reasons the medical marketing business continues to thrive is the abundance of top-flight talent in its ranks. Other verticals are jealous, frankly,” said MM+M editor-in-chief Larry Dobrow. “Of course, that makes the 40 Under 40 selection process a challenge – but it’s one that we embrace. It’s a privilege to celebrate the individuals set to lead the business for years to come.”

Dr. Kristen Ambegaokar is a neurobiologist with 10+ years of diverse laboratory and clinical experience in neuroscience, molecular biology, and oncology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Pomona College and received her PhD in Oncology from the University of California - Los Angeles, where she also served as a teaching assistant in Pharmacology. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Fox Chase Cancer Center, where she developed new methods for analyzing neurons by flow cytometry to aid in the detection and quantification of relevant viral proteins and neuronal markers.

“We are thrilled to have Kristen recognized by MM+M as a 40 under 40 honoree,” says Pat McGloin, Chief Client Officer for MERGE. “This award is a demonstration of the amazing work that Kristen delivers for our clients each and every day. She truly embodies our core values of merging science with soul. Kristen has a unique ability to transform a breakthrough treatment's dense scientific data and mechanism of action information into a well grounded story that's approachable for all audiences. Our Life Science practice, and MERGE as a whole, is lucky to have Kristen on our team.”

In addition to MERGE, this year’s 40 Under 40 honorees hail from a range of the industry’s biggest and most well respected organizations, including GoodRx, Real Chemistry, Janssen, Klick Health & GSK.

The 2023 MM+M 40 Under 40 class will be celebrated at a dinner to be held at The Edison Ballroom in New York City on February 16. For more information about MM+M’s 40 Under 40 program, visit mmm40under40.com.
