Exo® Announces New Headquarters to Accommodate Company’s Growth

Company doubles its footprint with new headquarters in Santa Clara, California

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Exo (pronounced “echo”), a pioneering medical imaging software and devices company, today announced it has relocated its headquarters to 4201 Burton Drive in Santa Clara, California. The move follows a year of rapid growth for the company, including a more than 20% increase in employee headcount – 150 of whom are based in the Bay Area. As the company prepares for continued expansion, its new space will serve as a hub for employees across departments.

Exo’s new headquarters occupy 50,000 square feet, double the size of the company’s previous space. The Santa Clara office features areas for manufacturing, research and development as Exo continues to hire for roles in software, hardware, sales and customer success to support its growing customer base and enhance its medical imaging ecosystem. The space also includes two state-of-the-art clinical rooms to use for developing and validating medical imaging advancements.

In addition to supporting medical imaging innovation, Exo’s new headquarters is now centrally located to more attractions and amenities. It is close to public transportation, in addition to being surrounded by Santa Clara’s many restaurants and shopping centers.

“We’ve had an exceptional year of growth at Exo," said Sandeep Akkaraju, co-founder and CEO of Exo “As we prepare for the next phase, we want to offer our growing workforce a place where they can effectively collaborate and innovate to achieve our vision of bringing medical imaging everywhere. We also look forward to using the new space as a place to build our culture through our regular team dinners, weekly barbecues and company parties.”

The new headquarters comes on the heels of several major milestones for Exo in the past year, including the launch of Exo Works™, an intuitive point-of-care ultrasound workflow solution; partnerships with major health systems including Henry Ford Health; and the acquisition of Medo, a Canadian developer of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

In addition to the Santa Clara office, Exo has offices in Canada and a robust remote workforce. For those interested in joining the growing Exo team, visit the company’s careers page.
