Steves and Sons Announces Construction of State-of-the-Art, Molded Door Skin Facility in Georgia

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp announced today that Steves & Sons, Inc. will make a substantial, multi-million-dollar investment in a new, state-of-the-art molded door skin facility near Athens in Jackson County and will create 170 jobs over the next three years.

Steves & Sons new 310,000-square-foot facility will produce millions of molded door skins annually for interior doors used in new housing construction, and repair and remodeling. This new facility will substantially improve Steves & Sons' ability to serve its customers with a quality product nationwide more efficiently.

Steves & Sons presently operates multiple door manufacturing sites in Texas, Tennessee, and Virginia, in as well as a value-added facility in Ashburn, Georgia opened in late 2021. The company will open a new door manufacturing plant in Brigham City, Utah in Q1 2023.
