The Berlin-based 3D printing start-up is pushing the boundaries of multi-material and high-performance material jetting, through the introduction of the NovoJet™ C-7. A printer suitable for research, feasibility studies, and small scale production of custom applications. It will be made available to research institutes and industry partners, looking to develop high-performance, multi-material 3D printing and other additive manufacturing applications.
BERLIJN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Afgelopen november kondigde Quantica op de internationale additive manufacturing-tentoonstelling Formnext zijn T1 Pro aan, een R&D-systeem dat de multi-materiaal, ultrahoge viscositeit jetting-mogelijkheden van het bedrijf, bekend als NovoJet™, demonstreerde. Een jaar later is Quantica terug op de beurs in Frankfurt, deze keer met de introductie van een nieuw desktopsysteem: de NovoJet™ C-7.
NovoJet™ C-7 is een open printplatform, ideaal voor de ontwikkeling van 2D- en 3D-toepassingen met behulp van Quantica’s ultrahoge viscositeit jettingtechnologie. Het is gemaakt voor onderzoeksinstituten, R&D-laboratoria en organisaties die nieuwe materialen en workflows voor additieve productie willen ontwikkelen. Naast haalbaarheidstests en applicatie-ontwikkeling, kan de printer ook worden gebruikt voor productie op maat en voor kleine volumes, waardoor een echt naadloze overgang van lab naar productie mogelijk wordt.
