Global Tech Leaders Form ISACA’s First Digital Trust Advisory Council

Inaugural meeting held during ISACA Conference Europe in Rome this week

ROME--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As part of its mission to equip digital trust professionals and advance digital trust in organizations worldwide, global professional association ISACA has established an advisory council of top industry leaders.

Members of the inaugural ISACA Digital Trust Advisory Council, which convened for the first time at the ISACA Conference Europe in Rome this week, are:

  • Matthew Chiodi, Chief Trust Officer, Cerby
  • Paolo Dal Cin, Accenture Global Security Lead
  • Daniel Dobrygowski, Head of Governance and Trust at the World Economic Forum
  • Michelle Finneran Dennedy, CEO of PrivacyCode
  • Charles Henderson, Global Managing Partner and Head of X-Force at IBM
  • Rinki Sethi, VP and CISO, Bill.com
  • Anne Toth, Trust, Privacy and Tech Policy Advisor

“Creating and maintaining trust in our digital world has become increasingly challenging in a time when emerging technologies are proliferating and high-stakes security, privacy and ethical breaches have become commonplace,” said David Samuelson, ISACA CEO. “Significant progress needs to be made, and the ISACA community—in partnership with leading organizations and experts like the ones on our Digital Trust Advisory Council—have an unmatched opportunity to lead the way in this critical area.”

Recent global research conducted by ISACA showed that respondents almost unanimously agree on the importance of digital trust, but few say their organizations have sufficient collaboration or measurement in place to make meaningful progress.

ISACA’s Digital Trust Advisory Council will provide guidance and thought leadership on how ISACA and our global community can create a digital ecosystem where confidence is the norm. The council will serve as ambassadors for digital trust and help inform ISACA’s work to provide resources for enterprises and professionals that focus on digital trust to not only protect their organizations’ reputations and ability to leverage technology to grow their business, but to protect consumers and achieve more positive business outcomes. Digital trust is a major factor in whether customers will do business with an organization, and thus must be a critical component in all areas of an enterprise.

“We believe in building a digital world that is more resilient, secure and ethical,” said Julia Kanouse, ISACA’s Chief Membership Officer. “Our 165,000 members, our passionate staff and volunteers, and the thought leaders on our Digital Trust Advisory Council are committed to the pursuit of digital trust to make a safer and more secure world for all.”

ISACA has developed a suite of resources to support organizations in improving digital trust. White papers, an online course, webinars and more are available at www.isaca.org/digital-trust.
