ISACA Digital Trust Workforce Development Program to Prepare More than 130 Learners for Tech Jobs in 2026
ISACA Foundation and the Caterpillar Foundation continue collaboration to provide career development opportunities
SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ISACA and the ISACA Foundation are expanding the ISACA Digital Trust Workforce Development Program in select cities across the United States. The expansion was made possible thanks to a grant from the Caterpillar Foundation to the ISACA Foundation.
The ISACA Digital Trust Workforce Development Program helps individuals build practical, job-ready skills and earn ISACA certificates that support entry into the IT workforce. The program’s courses, which are supported by local partners and often taught by ISACA chapter members, can include ISACA’s Computing Fundamentals and Cybersecurity Fundamentals (courses offered may vary by city). In the three years since the program’s inception, more than 500 individuals have participated in its courses.
This year, the program will be offered in the following cities, starting in the following months:
- Miami Lakes, Florida – June 2026
- Houston/Channelview, Texas – July 2026
- Chicago, Illinois – August 2026
- Griffin, Georgia – September 2026
- Athens, Georgia – October 2026
- Pontiac, Illinois – November 2026
- Muncie, Indiana – December 2026
ISACA has a long commitment to furthering academic and workforce development in the communities it serves, in line with its mission to open career pathways to learners at every stage in their career journey, including those looking to reskill/upskill. This also connects with the ISACA Foundation’s mission of increasing opportunities in the IT audit and cybersecurity workforce, including for those who may not have traditionally had opportunities in the tech space.
“At ISACA, we are committed to expanding access to tech careers and championing a workforce committed to advancing trust in technology,” said Julia Kanouse, ISACA Chief Membership Officer. “We are proud to continue to provide meaningful educational opportunities for those seeking to enter these professions and are thankful for support from the Caterpillar Foundation to continue the ISACA Digital Trust Workforce Development Program’s impact.”
This educational program also aligns with the mission of the Caterpillar Foundation, which is to help create the workforce of the 21st century by equipping individuals and communities with the skills, resources and services they need to thrive in our changing world.
“Expanding access to future‑ready skills is central to building strong, more resilient communities,” said Asha Varghese, president, Caterpillar Foundation. “Our work with the ISACA Foundation creates practical pathways that can open doors to meaningful careers. Together, we are equipping learners with the skills needed to succeed in today’s digital economy and strengthen the workforce of the future.”
