Invitation to Enter Your Work in "The 5th World Manga Competition"

KOCHI, Japan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kochi Prefecture, Japan, which has a history of more than 30 years holding the Manga Koshien, a competition for selecting the top high school team in the field of manga, will be holding the The World Manga Competition again this year with the participation of works of manga from around the world in an effort to cultivate new talent in the tradition of Manga Koshien. Those who wish to participate may enter their work by uploading to the specified site on the internet or by sending their work in by email.
Manga that pass the first selection round may be reviewed by professional manga artists, with possible feedback.
Further, the winner of the Story category will be published in "ComicWalker," a well-known manga magazine in Japan.
