METAIRIE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Home Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award a $16,000 Partnership Grant Program (PGP) subsidy to Home by Hand, a community-based organization (CBO) that creates strong neighborhoods by redeveloping vacant and blighted properties into single family homes. The funds will be awarded at a ceremonial check presentation Friday, October 7. Media is encouraged to attend.

Home by Hand intends to use the grant proceeds for program development, including the offsetting of operational and administrative costs for its pre-sale housing homebuyer education and development of its post-sale homeownership stewardship program.

PGP grants are awarded annually through FHLB Dallas’ member institutions to help promote and strengthen relationships between CBOs and FHLB Dallas members. FHLB Dallas provides up to a 3:1 match of member contributions from $500 to $4,000 to provide up to $12,000 in matched funding.
