TransRe Announces Global Facultative Leader

Jim Crutchley assumes role to bring strategic focus to business opportunity

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TransRe has named Jim Crutchley to the newly created position of Global Facultative Leader. In his new role, Mr. Crutchley will be responsible for the strategic direction of TransRe’s global book of facultative business. Mr. Crutchley will work with TransRe’s regional facultative teams and global product leaders to identify and execute market opportunities, streamline and standardize workflows, and accelerate data and analytics around market changes and claims trends.

Mr. Crutchley joined TransRe in 2015 to create and lead US Facultative Casualty team, since when the team has consistently and profitably grown its book of business. In his new role, Mr. Crutchley will report directly to Paul McKeon, President of Regional Business Units.

As part of these changes, TransRe has promoted Stephanie Danbrowney to Mr. Crutchley’s prior position as Head of US Facultative Casualty. Since joining TransRe in 2018, Ms. Danbrowney has successfully grown the US facultative book and has built a strong market reputation for underwriting expertise and client service.
