Altimetrik Wins Bronze Stevie® Award For Women-Focused DEI Programs In 2022 International Business Awards®

DETROIT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altimetrik was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion category in The 19th Annual International Business Awards®.

Altimetrik, a global pure play digital business and digital transformation company with 5,500-plus employees, was honored for its Women’s Initiative for Networking, Growing, and Success program, or WINGS, as well as for its Rebound initiative. WINGS is a company-wide program aimed at creating a gender-positive workplace. It launched in India on International Women’s Day in 2021 and is being expanded to the rest of the company with the goal of attracting women talent, nurturing women leaders, and creating an enabling workplace at Altimetrik.

WINGS’ lead initiative, Rebound, is a program designed to bring women programmers who are on a career break of six months to three years back into the workforce. Both WINGS and Rebound aim to help women grow in their careers and help them find balance between business and personal life. In addition, the company provides networking opportunities and support groups, as well as training to help hone leadership skills.

“It is Altimetrik’s goal to be one of the most advanced and desirable workplaces globally, and these programs have already strengthened our organization,” says Altimetrik CEO Raj Sundaresan. “This award validates our approach to deliver growth through diversity and our efforts to create a truly gender-inclusive culture that supports growth and leadership for all.”

The company also recently launched a mentorship program focused on women who are given personalized mentor-mentee relationships by senior leaders. The mentorship program is designed to build business acumen, upskill through training on the latest technology, develop programming skills, and build management competencies.

Early results have validated the program’s approach. Globally, WINGS has led to the hiring of over 550 women. The efforts of WINGS and other diversity programs have increased women representation from 22% to 26%. As for long-term objectives, WINGS aims to deliver growth through diversity as the company continues to see rapid global growth.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small - are eligible to submit nominations. The 2022 IBAs received entries from organizations in 67 nations and territories. Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 300 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process in June and July.

This year’s Stevie Award winners will be celebrated during a gala banquet at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel, in London, England, on Saturday, Oct. 15 – the first live IBA awards ceremony since 2019.

“We’re thrilled that we’re able to return to celebrating Stevie winners in person this year,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Miller. “This year’s class of honorees are as innovative, adventuresome, persistent, and successful as we’ve ever had. We look forward to celebrating their achievements with them during our awards banquet in London.”
