Versant Health Names Hayley Ellington-Buckles Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer

Hayley brings significant managed healthcare experience and deep institutional knowledge

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Versant Health, a leading national managed vision care company and wholly-owned subsidiary of MetLife, is proud to welcome back Hayley Ellington-Buckles as Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer effective July 25, 2022.

Hayley brings over two decades of managed healthcare experience, most recently serving as a Principal for Prophetic Advantage Consulting. Prior to that, Hayley served as Chief Compliance Officer and then Senior Vice President, Operations at Versant Health from 2017 to April 2021. In 2012 she joined Davis Vision, now one of Versant Health’s two vision care plans, as Vice President of Compliance, Contracting and Clinical Administration. She soon assumed additional operational responsibilities.

As Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, Hayley will lead the compliance strategy and corporate compliance program for Versant Health. In addition to ensuring the organization is compliant with all state and federal regulatory requirements, Hayley will oversee all aspects of developing and managing company licensing and reporting, audit management, vendor oversight, privacy office, regulatory affairs, and the organization’s special investigations/fraud, waste, and abuse program.

Hayley received her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law and holds her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas, Arlington.
