SCYTHE Adds to Sales and Marketing Teams with New Hires

Rachel Virgil Heads Sales and Brandon Hoe Leads Marketing for Fast Growing Cybersecurity Innovator

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SCYTHE, a leader in adversarial emulation and breach and attack simulation, today announced the company has hired Rachel Virgil as its new Vice President of Sales and named Brandon Hoe as the company’s new marketing chief.

Rachel Virgil, Vice President of Sales

Rachel brings years of experience and success to SCYTHE's sales, channel, and marketing efforts across the globe. She strives believes that the best way to take care of SCYTHE's customers is by putting her team first to put customers first. Virgil began her career in high technology negotiating complex commercial transactions for IBM's largest reseller. For the last 10 years, she has held a variety of sales and channel leadership roles at startups and public companies.

Virgil also serves on the UC Santa Barbara PaCE Women in Leadership Advisory Board. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University, and graduated cum laude from St. Mary's University School of Law with a Juris Doctor.

Brandon Hoe, Marketing Chief

Prior to taking on the marketing reins at SCYTHE, Brandon helped grow two other cybersecurity startups (with one of them resulting in a majority investment by a growth equity company), started and ran a full-service growth agency for over 11 years, and almost single-handedly built a global consumer product company that he launched off the back of a successful Kickstarter campaign. His world revolves around his family, making/creative reuse, photography and art, Liverpool FC, and Duke Blue Devil sports.

Brandon has a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue, and an MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke.
