Searchlight Capital Partners Announces Appointment of David Fuller as Operating Partner

The appointment adds significant industry experience to Searchlight’s team

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Searchlight Capital Partners, L.P. (“Searchlight” or “the Firm”), a leading global private investment firm, today announced the appointment of David Fuller as an Operating Partner.

Mr. Fuller brings deep expertise in the technology and communications sectors, as well as a breadth of experience across various other industries from his background in management consulting and board work. He currently serves as board member of Mitel Networks, Consolidated Communications, Great-West Lifeco and Canada Life.

Prior to joining Searchlight, Mr. Fuller was President of Rogers Wireless, where in a short period of time he was instrumental in significantly improving the operating metrics of the Mobility business. Prior to that, Mr. Fuller spent 15 years with TELUS where he held a number of executive roles, including Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Business Solutions Marketing. From 2014 to 2019, Mr. Fuller was the President and EVP of TELUS Consumer and Small Business Solutions, where he led a team of just under 14,000 members across Canada who generated more than $8 billion in recurring revenue annually from over 11 million customers. Previous to his time with TELUS, Mr. Fuller spent almost 15 years in the Management Consulting business working globally with clients across multiple different industries.
