Sippey will continue to build the already successful Outside+ platform alongside other digital product offerings.
With over 30 years of experience in product management and product leadership roles, Sippey will lead Outside's product and engineering teams to build and ship products that inspire outdoor enthusiasts of all stripes to lead healthy, connected and fulfilling lives. Reporting directly to Outside's CEO Robin Thurston, and a part of the executive team, Sippey will be responsible for evolving Outside's product strategy and delivering delightful customer experiences across every touchpoint.

Sippey joins Outside most recently from Medium, where he was Chief Product Offer. While at Medium he led product strategy and oversaw the product management, product design and user services teams. Prior to Medium he was the CEO and co-Founder of Talkshow, a social application acquired by Medium. Sippey has also held product leadership roles at Twitter, SAY Media and Six Apart, and has taught product management courses with Reforge.
