Leading Digital Mental Health Company Expands Clinical Leadership and Product Offerings

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Uprise Health, the leader in digital behavioral therapy and chronic condition management, today announced it has appointed Christopher Valerian, DO, MMM, as its Chief Medical Officer. In his new role, Dr. Valerian will focus on driving clinical accountability for Uprise Health and enhancing the analytics capabilities of its leading digital mental health products. The addition of Dr. Valerian’s new clinical leadership aligns with the launch of Uprise Health’s new product offering, Care Navigation. A digitally-enabled mental health and employee assistance program (EAP) platform, users are connected to a professional who will act as their Care Navigator and provide a proactive approach to helping members navigate their mental health journey.

“Dr. Valerian’s healthcare ecosystem experience and knowledge are a perfect complement to the Uprise Health team as we become laser focused on whole person care,” said Mike Nolte, CEO of Uprise Health. “The recent launch of Care Navigation reflects our ongoing commitment to reducing barriers for accessing care and Dr. Valerian’s insight will be essential as we continue our journey toward achieving this mission.”
