University of Phoenix Workforce Solutions Leadership Participates in NCCET Conference

Collene Bay-Andersen will present on optimizing career pathway talent pipelines

PHOENIX--()--University of Phoenix Workforce Solutions leadership, Collene Bay-Andersen, MBA, vice president of Corporate & Academic Alliances, joins the National Council for Continuing Education & Training (NCCET) this week, February 2 – 4, 2022, in Austin, TX.

NCCET is a member organization supporting community colleges and companies providing community services, continuing education, workforce development, and distance learning. Their 51st Annual National Member’s Conference offers tracks in Staff Development Programs, Revenue Growth Strategies, and New Non-Credit Curriculums.

“University of Phoenix is focused on our students being career-ready, and our Workforce Solutions brings that focus to help companies develop a career relevant workforce,” states Bay-Andersen. “This conference is an opportunity to share and collaborate with the continuing education community on how our innovations can anticipate and respond to workforce needs.”

Bay-Andersen hosts a break out session on Thursday, February 3, and her presentation, “Engineering the 4th Industrial Revolution: ​Optimizing Career Pathway Talent Pipelines with Work, Education and Apprenticeships,” was developed in collaboration with Institute of American Apprenticeships (IAA). The presentation will include an audience survey of workforce challenges, cross-industry forecasts, review employment and workforce data trends, discuss degreed apprenticeships, and explore career assessments and degree pathways.
