PPLSI Hires Branding and Marketing Maven, Cara Whitley, as New Chief Marketing Officer

Whitley to lead branding, strategic partnerships, and digital growth

ADA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PPLSI, the parent company of LegalShield and IDShield, and a champion of equal access to justice and security, names Cara Whitley as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer. In her role, Whitley will oversee marketing and advertising creative, media planning and buying, and will work across departments to develop new product benefits and features for members and customers. Whitley will also oversee LegalShield’s first brand marketing campaign, expected to launch the first half of 2022.

Whitley comes to the company with more than two decades of professional experience across a variety of industries with a focus on marketing, branding, strategic partnerships, and business development. Most recently, Whitley was the Global Chief Marketing Officer for Century 21 Real Estate, where she led a global and award-winning rebranding campaign across 85 countries.

Aside from her most recent role at Century 21, Whitley has held executive positions at several major corporations including Hilton Hotels, Epsilon and American Express. She is a graduate of the University of Miami where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a concentrated focus in advertising and graphic design.
