Barrie House Coffee Roasters Launches New Line of Fair-Trade Organic Espresso Capsules

Match The Café Experience at Home with Sustainably Sourced, High-Quality Espresso

ELMSFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Barrie House Coffee Roasters has launched a new line of Fair Trade Organic and recyclable espresso capsules. Family-owned since 1934, Barrie House has spent years perfecting their espresso blends and continue to innovate with the introduction of a variety of blends in new aluminum capsules. These capsules allow consumers to enjoy a café quality espresso experience in the comfort of their own home.

Barrie House made the change to Aluminum capsules because aluminum protects the flavor, improves performance, and promotes greater sustainability. The capsules fit all Nespresso® Original Espresso machines.

“We know that the key to making premium quality coffee lies within the roasting process. Our techniques have been cultivated and passed down through generations and we have perfected the art of coffee roasting with our espresso capsules. Our aluminum capsules are designed to ensure that when you brew an espresso at home, you receive the high quality and taste as intended. It’s as if you are roasting and grinding the espresso moments before brewing,” said Barrie House CEO, Craig James.

Barrie House proudly offers Fair Trade Certified and USDA Organic products. They trace, test, and taste every batch of coffee produced to meet their high-quality standards. They guarantee that if you are not completely satisfied with their coffee, they will make it right.

Barrie House new FTO espresso blends include:

  • INTENSO
    • Their darkest blend is perfect for those looking for the flavors and aromas of a traditional Italian espresso.
  • RAFFINATO
    • A dark roast blend, ideal for those looking for a refined, traditional espresso, yet not quite as intense.
  • DOLCETTO
    • Their medium intensity blend, perfect for those looking for a bright and sweet espresso.
  • DECAFFEINATO
    • Their Decaf has all the flavors and aromas of a traditional Italian espresso, but without the caffeine.

The new espresso capsules are available on the Barrie House website, Amazon Prime, and are in select retail locations. BarrieHouse.com offers these espresso capsules in 10-count, 50-count, and 120-count sizes, and three variety packs. Amazon Prime offers individual and variety packs in 50-count cases.
