MITRE Promotes Dr. Jay Schnitzer and Wilson Wang to Senior Vice President

Senior Leaders Serve as Catalysts for Innovation and Transformation

MCLEAN, Va. & BEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MITRE promoted two long-time corporate executives: Dr. Jay Schnitzer now serves as senior vice president, chief medical and technology officer, and Wilson Wang now serves as senior vice president, chief financial officer.

Schnitzer has been instrumental as MITRE’s chief technology officer and chief medical officer – driving national impact as he directs and manages MITRE’s $70 million independent research and development program, develops our corporate technology strategy, and leads critical national initiatives in health and life sciences. Over the last 18 months, his leadership and expertise co-leading the COVID-19 Healthcare Coalition with Mayo Clinic have been unparalleled. He has successfully leveraged talent across our organization to mobilize knowledge and resources of industry and academia to drive national and global solutions in our fight against COVID-19. He joined MITRE in 2013.

Since joining MITRE, Wang has ensured that MITRE’s financial health remains strong, positioning the company to deliver value and impact to our sponsors and partners.
