Dataiku Recognized by Snowflake as Data Science Partner of the Year

The enterprise AI company was lauded for outstanding performance across technical integrations, technical skills, collaborative deployments and sales traction

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dataiku, one of the world’s leading AI and machine learning platforms, was recognized by Snowflake, the Data Cloud company, as Data Science Partner of the Year this week at Snowflake’s virtual partner summit. Dataiku’s long standing partnership and deep integrations with Snowflake allows the two companies to seamlessly deliver enterprise-ready AI capabilities that enable customers to easily build, deploy and monitor different types of data science projects, including machine learning and deep learning.

As a key part of the Snowflake Data Cloud ecosystem, Dataiku makes it even easier for Snowflake customers to harness the value of advanced analytics and AI-driven applications. With Dataiku, Snowflake customers can achieve a unique visual interface that enables collaboration across a broad range of users, allowing business users and data teams alike to access and leverage the Data Cloud to create automated data pipelines, powerful predictive analytics and practical AI-driven applications powered by Snowflake.

Dataiku and Snowflake announced an enhanced partnership in November 2020, and in April 2021, Dataiku announced a new investment from Snowflake Ventures, the venture arm of Snowflake. Dataiku is also designated as an Elite partner (the highest tier of Snowflake partners), and recently received Tech Ready status for its optimization of Snowflake integrations with emphasis on functional and performance best practices. Dataiku offers Snowflake-native integrations including authentication, native connectivity, data loading, data transformation and push-down from Dataiku to Snowflake compute for feature engineering and write-back predictions to Snowflake.

Snowflake’s designation of Dataiku as Data Science Partner of the Year illustrates the companies’ shared commitment to providing a best-in-class experience for their joint customers, which today include more than 80 companies, including Novartis and DAZN. The powerful combination of Snowflake’s performance, near-unlimited scale and concurrency with Dataiku’s machine learning and model management capabilities has enhanced the AI capabilities of customers across industries, and the recent launch of Dataiku Online with Snowflake, a complete SaaS offering of Dataiku that is pre-integrated with Snowflake, brings rapid integration of customer data and fast time-to-value for customers of all sizes.

“As businesses look for more ways to enhance their operations through AI, it’s more important than ever to have data science tools that integrate quickly and easily,” said Dataiku CEO Florian Douetteau. “We are pleased to be recognized as Snowflake’s Data Science Partner of the Year. To us, it’s an affirmation of our shared goal to simplify and strengthen data science workflows and unlock the power of advanced analytics for businesses everywhere.”

Further innovation between Snowflake and Dataiku will allow joint customers to rapidly access new cloud data critical to creating powerful AI-driven applications and resilient processes. With the push-down architecture of Dataiku, customers will be able to take advantage of usage-based, per-second pricing on Snowflake’s platform for data processing, AI development and running data and AI pipelines in production.

The partnership will be further amplified through Snowpark, the new developer experience in Snowflake. Snowpark, which is currently in preview, will allow data engineers, data scientists, and developers to write code in their languages such as Scala, Java and Python using familiar programming concepts, and then execute workloads such as data transformation, data preparation and feature engineering on Snowflake.

“As a trusted partner, Dataiku has helped sell, integrate and deploy joint technologies to dozens of shared customers, and we’re thrilled to recognize their efforts with the Snowflake Data Science Partner of the Year Award,” said Colleen Kapase, SVP of WorldWide Partners and Alliances at Snowflake. “Our partnership with Dataiku helps joint customers leverage AI and ML in practical, scalable ways, and we look forward to the innovations and positive customer outcomes that will continue to result from our collaboration.”
