State to Announce Improvements to California COVID-19 Rent Relief Application Process and Highlight Partnership With Contra Costa County, Local Organizations

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--()--Officials with California’s COVID-19 Rent Relief program tomorrow will announce significant changes designed to improve and streamline the application process for Californians seeking rent relief through the state, and to encourage more people to complete applications for rent relief. Additions to the application portal website will also be announced.

Officials will also highlight the partnership between the state, Contra Costa County and local Community-Based Organizations in bringing these changes about.

A question-and-answer session for reporters will follow a brief presentation.
