Life Spine Announces 23% Revenue Growth in Their Micro Invasive™ Expandable Lateral Spacer Systems

HUNTLEY, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Life Spine, a leading medical device company that designs, develops, manufactures, and markets products for the surgical treatment of spinal disorders, announced today a 23% revenue growth in their Micro Invasive Expandable Lateral Spacer Systems from Q1 2021 over Q4 2020.

Life Spine is the leader in Micro Invasive expandable solutions with over 12 expandable 510(k) clearances and multiple additional expandable products in development. Life Spine’s Micro Invasive Expandable Lateral portfolio is comprised of PROLIFT® Lateral and PROLIFT Lateral Fixated.

PROLIFT Lateral is an expandable lateral spacer that allows for up to 6mm of in situ expansion and up to 15˚ of lordosis. The system can be collapsed and expanded in situ ensuring a custom matched fit while restoring disc height and decompressing the neural elements. PROLIFT Lateral Fixated offers the same clinical benefits of PROLIFT Lateral with an integrated plating system for additional lateral stabilization. These systems compliment Life Spine’s Lateral portfolio consisting of the CENTRIC® Expandable Retractor System, SENTRY® Plating Systems, Disc Preparation Instruments, Biologics and Graft Delivery Systems.

“Utilizing Life Spine’s expandable technology in my practice provides a variety of benefits for myself, the hospital, and my patients. These benefits include helping move procedures to Ambulatory Surgery Centers, reduces operative time, reduces recovery time, and saves health care costs. Both PROLIFT Lateral and the PROLIFT Lateral Fixated systems offer an ideal solution for my lateral procedures.” said Dr. Adam Lewis of Flowood, MS.
